This article applies the Monte Carlo method to investigate the impact of ocean media on the underwater transmission link of wireless optical communication, providing reference for the application of optical communication technology in underwater environments. Through experimental collection of underwater media scattering data and its analysis, the correlation between the media scattering coefficient and parameters such as water quality and underwater distance is obtained. The research results show that in underwater optical communication systems, media scattering can cause signal attenuation and distortion, thereby affecting communication quality and distance. Therefore, when designing underwater optical communication systems, it is necessary to fully consider the characteristics of media scattering to improve system reliability and performance. This study has important theoretical and practical significance for the development of underwater wireless optical communication technology.
