To improve the effectiveness and accuracy of disease and pest monitoring, and solve the problem of poor spatio-temporal adaptability of prediction models, an open architecture product (OAP) design concept and client/server (C/S) development approach were adopted, taking field microclimate data and disease and pest monitoring data as the main data sources, combined with disease and pest prediction and forecasting models. The MPODI crop disease and pest monitoring and early warning system based on regional ecology was designed and implemented. The system includes four software frameworks: acquisition layer, data layer, model layer and release layer, with functions such as dynamic modeling, free customization, data management, model prediction, forecast release, and auxiliary decision making. Taking Sichuan Province Dazhu County rice blast prediction model as the demonstration object, the system's functions were tested and trial operated. The results showed that the system can achieve a high degree of personalized modeling or model revision, the prediction conclusions are in line with the model expectations, and the reliability of this method is verified.
