With modern industrial development and the improvement of industrialization level, people's lives and work have become more convenient. However, environmental pollution is becoming more severe, especially the decline in air quality. In addition to exhaust gases and wastewater, the pollution caused by particulate dust and smoke emitted into the atmosphere has become a significant issue. Dust is an important indicator of air quality, making dust detection increasingly important. The dust detector is mainly used to detect the concentration of dust in the environment, suitable for the determination of dust concentration in production sites of industrial and mining enterprises' labor departments, atmospheric dust detection by environmental protection monitoring departments, and pollution source investigations. This project is based on the principle of light scattering, focusing on the single-chip microcontroller as the core, to complete the design of the data acquisition and display circuits of the detector. Developing a complete high-performance control system with advantages such as low cost, stable and reliable operation, and short development cycle, and proficiently mastering the use of single-chip microcontroller systems and related software debugging tools. Keywords: dust, light scattering, air sampling, A/D conversion, display. In conclusion, the Dust Detector Based on Single Chip Control Circuit is a crucial device for monitoring and measuring dust concentration in various industrial and environmental settings. Through utilizing the principles of light scattering and the capabilities of a single-chip microcontroller, this detector provides a cost-effective and reliable solution for assessing air quality and addressing pollution concerns. By mastering the design and implementation of such control circuits, engineers and researchers can contribute to the development of more efficient and effective pollution monitoring systems in the future.
