With the rapid development and advancement of computer technology, we are ushered into a new era where the application of computers has become deeply embedded in every aspect of our lives. One significant innovation in the field of computer technology is the single-chip microcomputer, commonly referred to as a single-chip microcomputer. These microcomputers are integrated onto a single circuit chip and offer a compact, powerful, low-power consumption, and widely applicable solution for various electronic devices, ranging from everyday consumer electronics to advanced aerospace technologies. This paper focuses on the design of a novelty chasing light using the AT company's AT89C51 single-chip microcontroller. The system is controlled by the microcontroller, with the negative terminals of LEDs connected to the I/O port and the positive terminals directly connected to a 5V power supply. The LEDs are illuminated by the low-level output of the I/O port. By controlling the high and low levels of the microcontroller's I/O ports, different patterns of novelty chasing lights can be achieved. In summary, this design leverages the capabilities of single-chip microcomputers to create a vibrant novelty chasing light system that showcases the versatility and efficiency of these innovative technologies. The design not only highlights the practical application of single-chip microcomputers in lighting systems but also underscores their significance in driving technological advancements across various industries. Keywords: LED, single-chip microcontroller, high and low level voltage fluctuations.
