This article introduces the design and implementation of a rice cooker electronic nanny device based on a single-chip microcontroller, which is a new type of intelligent rice cooker developed after the ordinary household rice cooker. The intelligent rice cooker system is designed and developed, inheriting the advantages of traditional rice cookers while incorporating functions such as timed water filling and timed cooking, achieving the automatic start of cooking at a set time and automatically stopping work when the rice is cooked within a specified time. The design uses a temperature sensor DS18B20 to collect temperature data and control the relay switch through the low voltage output of the single-chip microcontroller to control the water inlet valve and automatically cut off the circuit, with a display function that shows the working status over time on the LCD display, all controlled by the single-chip microcontroller. This paper introduces a new rice cooker control system, detailing the overall design concept, hardware design, and software system, and provides a detailed introduction to the system's functions and implementation, as well as pointing out the shortcomings and suggestions for improvement. Through the use of single-chip microcontroller control, timed functions, relay control, and sensors, this rice cooker electronic nanny device represents a step forward in the integration of technology and everyday appliances, providing ease of use, convenience, and automation in the kitchen.
