Abstract: The design of the three-phase smart meter software system is crucial for its application in the fields of power grid and automation control. This intelligent meter combines various functions such as telemetry, remote communication, remote control, display, and communication. It is capable of monitoring electrical parameters such as current, voltage, power, power factor, frequency, and electric energy on a single-phase line. The product features programmable functions, DC 4-20mA analog output, RS232 serial port, and switch output, enabling networking with monitoring systems and remote data transmission. The software system is developed based on Visual Basic language programming, comprising serial port connection and a user-friendly visual interface for data collection, display, storage, and retrieval. This system facilitates the acquisition, display, storage, and retrieval of three-phase electrical data. Key words: Visual Basic, RS232 serial port, database.
