PSK modulation and DPSK modulation are crucial components in communication systems, with the improvement of PSK modulation being a key factor in enhancing system performance. This paper presents a MATLAB simulation of PSK and DPSK signals based on PCM encoding. The basic modulation and demodulation methods of PSK and DPSK systems are first analyzed, and analog signals are converted to discrete digital signals using PCM encoding. MATLAB is then used to simulate the corresponding waveforms, allowing for observation of the time-domain and frequency-domain waveforms at each stage of modulation and demodulation. By combining the principles of modulation, the performance of various modulation methods is compared and analyzed, and the reliability of the simulation is demonstrated through comparison with theoretical calculations. This course project has deepened our understanding of textbook knowledge and improved our proficiency in using MATLAB simulation software.Keywords: PCM encoding, PSK, DPSK, MATLAB.
