ABSTRACT In today's era of economic globalization, companies are increasingly turning to suppliers around the world to build their supply chains and enhance their core competitiveness. The practice of manufacturing outsourcing has become a prevalent strategy, presenting new challenges for supply chain management as it carries the risk of spiraling out of control. Despite the potential pitfalls, many enterprises are embracing this approach and have experienced significant growth as a result. The focus of this study is on Apple Inc., a prominent example of a company that has leveraged outsourcing in the production of its iconic iPhone. By examining Apple's supply chain management practices within the context of manufacturing outsourcing, this research aims to shed light on the strategies that have enabled the company to thrive in the competitive smartphone market.
