Abstract The communication technology has been constantly advancing, leading to significant changes in the construction of communication majors and the demand for students to have a stronger ability to comprehensively apply their knowledge. Communication, as a profession in the field of telecommunications, has been evolving since the early 19th century, and with the development of wireless communication in the 21st century, technologies such as AM fiber optic communication, modulation and demodulation, new network technologies, wireless radio transmission, among others, have been advancing rapidly. In this study, we chose the topic of AM transmission system to analyze its system components and the modulation-demodulation process. The simulation was carried out using System View software, which enabled us to analyze and compare the frequency spectrum and waveform of the AM transmission system. Through this simulation, we were able to verify the correctness of the simulated system and deepen our understanding of commonly used analog linear modulation-demodulation systems.
