Abstract With the progress of the Internet era and the advancement of the gaming industry, gaming has become a popular pastime for people, influencing their lifestyle. In their leisure time, people enjoy relaxing and entertaining themselves with games. The combination of gaming and virtual simulation has attracted more and more attention. Through virtual simulation games, players can experience a more colorful life and learn more diverse knowledge, making virtual simulation games increasingly popular. Unity3D is currently one of the most popular game development engines, widely used by game developers for its low cost and high efficiency. This paper explores the development and implementation process of a customs simulation game based on Unity3D. It first determines the direction of game design, then lists the implementation content of the game. This includes the use of props, information about inbound personnel, and artificial intelligence dialogue. The paper also discusses the framework methods used in the development process, such as the use of the Pure MVC framework for managing UI, finite state machines for managing states, and rendering methods required for simulation games, such as the use of the LightWeight RenderPipeline tool. This allows game players who want to learn about the work of customs inspectors to experience the specific work process of customs inspection more realistically.
