Based on the AT89S51 single-chip microcomputer, the design of an electronic sphygmomanometer is discussed in this graduation project. The electronic sphygmomanometer is characterized by its portability, high precision, and intelligence. With the development of modern electronic technology, electronic sphygmomanometers are becoming more commonly used in households. However, traditional single-chip microcontroller circuit designs are complex, unstable, and lack precision in measurement. Therefore, this project first focuses on the blood pressure measurement method to design the circuit system. The AT89S51 single-chip microcontroller is used as the control core, with peripheral hardware circuits composed of the gas pressure sensor US9111, the serial A/D conversion chip ADC0832, the LCD driver chip, and other analog circuits. Additionally, KeiluVision2 is used for C language programming to ensure the hardware meets the basic functions of a simple blood pressure monitor. The designed blood pressure monitor in this study exhibits high stability, fast measurement speed, and high measurement accuracy, with test results closely matching those of a traditional mercury sphygmomanometer. Furthermore, this system's design can meet the needs of human health measurement, offering many benefits for improving daily life quality with high market value.
