Pseudo-random sequences play a significant role in modern engineering, particularly in areas such as signal encryption and spread-spectrum communication. The research on the generation and characteristics of pseudo-random sequences has become increasingly profound. In spread-spectrum communication systems, pseudo-random sequences exhibit excellent noise immunity and are widely used. This paper focuses on modeling and designing commonly used pseudo-random sequences, such as m-sequences, using MATLAB. The paper calculates the correlation coefficients of pseudo-random sequences and performs simulations using MATLAB to compare the correlation characteristics of different pseudo-random sequences. In order to facilitate observation, MATLAB is utilized to fit curve graphs, allowing for a comparison of the correlation characteristics of each sequence.
