The graduation thesis titled "Design and Realization of Redundant Paths between LANs" proposes an effective solution to the problems of low redundancy, latency, and limited bandwidth in the networks of large and medium-sized enterprises in China. The solution involves increasing redundancy in the network by adding backbone routers to form redundant links, streaming video traffic, and setting priority levels to improve overall transmission efficiency. By analyzing the network structure connecting the headquarters and branch offices of a company, a network expansion plan is proposed to meet maintenance needs and eliminate drawbacks. The use of dual ISP access links ensures the normal operation of the company's network. By implementing a hot backup routing protocol to create redundant links, network operation is guaranteed in case of transmission link failures, while also providing load balancing to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the enterprise network. The redesigned network is better suited to the needs of large and medium-sized enterprises, especially with the increasing popularity of video conferencing.
