The electronic price computing scale based on AT89C51 single-chip microcontroller is designed to accurately measure and calculate the weight of materials. The system consists of a strain gauge sensor composed of a full bridge circuit that converts the weight of the material into a linearly proportional voltage. The amplified voltage is then converted into a linear relationship between weight and voltage, where 1g is equivalent to 1mV, 1kg is equivalent to 1V, and the full range is 5V. The pulse signal is processed through a V/F conversion circuit and a 10x frequency multiplication circuit before being input into the AT89C51 microcontroller for processing. The pulse train of the relationship is then sent to the T0 timer/counter of the AT89C51 for counting. The unit price is inputted through a 4x4 matrix keyboard, and the total price is automatically calculated by multiplying the unit price with the weight, which is then displayed in real time on an LCD screen. The hardware circuit of the electronic price computing scale includes a 4x4 matrix keyboard and reset circuit, achieving the design goal of an efficient, reliable, and accurate electronic price computing scale.
