Based on the complete graduation thesis document "Design of Pulse Measurement Instrument Based on Single Chip Microcomputer - Graduation (Complete Version)", this design utilizes the single chip microcomputer STC89C52 as the central control processing unit, with the infrared optical sensor ST188 for pulse signal acquisition, and LM358 for operational amplification. Through front and back stage filtering, amplification, and shaping, a stable signal is obtained to achieve rapid heart rate detection. Additionally, the system includes functions such as setting the upper and lower limits of pulse values through keypad input, with a buzzer module for alarm prompts when exceeding the set range, and displaying measurement results on an LCD screen. Experimental results show that the test results of this design are basically consistent with the actual requirements. The superior anti-interference ability of the STC89C52 microcontroller and the convenient control of the LCD1602 display screen enable these functions to be smoothly executed. The production cost of this system is less than one hundred yuan, making it cost-effective, easy to operate, low power consumption, and highly reliable. It is suitable for home and personal use. In conclusion, this single chip microcomputer-based pulse measurement instrument design provides a cost-effective and user-friendly solution for monitoring heart rate, with features such as adjustable pulse value limits, alarm notifications, and clear display of results.
