"Based on the document 'Simulation and Experiment of Screening Performance of Coal Powder Sampling Device Based on EDEM', a portable coal powder sampling device with three layers of screens was optimized designed on the basis of traditional ZKB linear vibrating screens to reduce the influence of external factors on coal powder sampling. The factors affecting the screening performance were analyzed to be the vibration frequency f, vibration amplitude A, and screen inclination angle α. With material particles as the research object, a three-dimensional model was established using discrete element software, the Hertz-Mindlin with JKR contact model was selected, and the Taguchi orthogonal method was used for data analysis to obtain the optimal combination of vibration parameters for screening performance, which were found to be f 14 Hz, A 3 mm, and α 14°. An experimental platform was set up to verify the results, and the optimal vibration parameters were determined to be f 16 Hz, A 3 mm, and α 14°, which matched the simulation results. The research showed that the discrete element method has strong accuracy in dealing with particle vibration screening issues, and can be used for simulation optimization before device production, providing reference for optimizing the screening parameters of vibration."
