Abstract
The development of a Puppetry Cultural Communication Website based on HTML5 adopts a Browser/Server structure, making the website easily accessible without the need for installation and updates while being cross-platform compatible. The integration of front-end and back-end development allows for dynamic functions such as adding, deleting, modifying, and querying through user interactions. Java and MYSQL database are utilized in the back-end development. The development of this website has played a significant role in promoting the dissemination and communication of Puppetry culture, blending folk art with the internet. The website breaks the geographical boundaries, allowing traditional culture to merge with modernity. The front-end features of the system include user login, discussion forums, bookmarking, replies, posting messages, and chat functions. The back-end includes login, module management, user management, information management, and recommended messages. The design of this website aims to adapt traditional Puppetry culture to contemporary trends and enhance its outreach. By applying my professional knowledge to this project, I hope to further the development of traditional Chinese Puppetry culture through design and website construction. This platform provides a space for enthusiasts to exchange cultural insights and serves as a stage for Puppetry enthusiasts and fans.
