"基于MATLAB的图像分割算法研究与仿真" - 本科论文综述及仿真结果分析

With the deepening of information technology, image as a carrier containing a large amount of information is increasingly able to demonstrate its powerful information encoding ability. Image segmentation is a key step in image analysis and is the foundation for further understanding images. Image segmentation lies between image processing and image analysis in image engineering. Image segmentation is the process of dividing an image into a series of meaningful, characteristic objects or regions. Although there are many image segmentation algorithms, there is still no universal image segmentation algorithm available. This paper reviews threshold segmentation, region growing, split and merge, and edge detection image segmentation algorithms. Firstly, the research significance of image segmentation and the current research status at home and abroad are introduced. Then, the basic principles of threshold segmentation, region growing, split and merge, and edge detection image segmentation algorithms and their MATLAB simulation results are presented. Finally, MATLAB graphical user interface design is introduced. The MATLAB simulation results show that various image segmentation algorithms have their own advantages and disadvantages, and their application ranges. Therefore, before segmenting an image, it is necessary to analyze the image first and then choose the appropriate segmentation algorithm in order to obtain satisfactory segmentation results.
