There are many parameters to describe antenna characteristics, some of which require complex calculations, such as the directional coefficient, input impedance, mutual impedance, etc., making it inconvenient for practical applications. In order to address this issue, this paper utilizes MATLAB language to develop a program for calculating the complex parameters of antennas. Firstly, the paper reviews relevant knowledge about antennas and masters the calculation methods and formulas for complex parameters such as radiation impedance, input impedance, directional coefficient, and gain coefficient. Secondly, the paper learns about MATLAB's GUI and interface design methods, as well as how to plot graphs. Based on this knowledge, the paper designs a system for calculating antenna parameters and learns how to add relevant code to the interface design to achieve the required functionality. Finally, the paper verifies the effectiveness and correctness of the system by testing it based on principles. This paper is based on the MATLAB development environment, uses MATLAB's GUI interface, and designs a system for calculating complex antenna parameters, achieving good results. By mastering the calculation methods and formulas for antenna characteristics and utilizing MATLAB's GUI and interface design capabilities, the paper demonstrates the effectiveness and correctness of the system through testing. This software program provides a convenient and efficient solution for calculating antenna parameters in practical applications, contributing to the advancement of wireless communication technology.
