Summary
With the booming development of the Internet, there has been a growing interest in e-commerce among people. As a result, e-commerce companies have emerged. The logistics system plays a crucial role in the operation of these companies, requiring a significant amount of manpower and resources to focus on logistics models and inventory control. These two aspects directly impact the production efficiency and overall survival of the enterprise.
This paper first provides a brief overview of the prevalent logistics models in e-commerce companies, followed by a discussion on the factors influencing the selection of these models. Through a comparative analysis, it is found that third-party logistics is an excellent choice for the Zhongpai uniform company, and the decentralized policy between the two parties is also discussed.
Building upon a detailed analysis of the typical characteristics of e-commerce companies, this paper proposes a batch model based on the economic order quantity, considering factors such as returns, late shipments, corresponding penalties, and promotional discounts within the inventory model framework. The discussion also delves into the selection of lead time for delivery cycles and explores issues related to order quantities, ultimately providing optimal values.
Towards the end of the article, the study results are summarized, and future research prospects are outlined. Key words: e-commerce, inventory control, logistics, demand forecasting.
