This manual addresses:

D NC planners and commissioning staff.

These individuals must have special knowledge of

D the options of configuring the control and

D of adapting it to a given target machine.

The unit may be programmed, started and operated and program para-

meters be modified by appropriately trained and qualified staff only. This

staff must be able to recognize the risks involved in programming, pro-

gram modifications and the inherent general risks of mechanical, electri-

cal or electronic equipment.

Any manipulations of the hardware and/or software of our products,

which are not described in this manual, may only be made by our quali-

fied personnel.

If manipulations of the hardware or software are made by non-qualified

persons or if the warnings contained in this manual or applied to the pro-

duct are not complied with, then this might result in serious personal in-

jury or severe material damage.

Only electricians complying with IEV 826-09-01 (modified), who are fa-

miliar with the contents of this manual are permitted to install and main-

tain the products described.

These are persons who

their knowledge of the pertinent standards, are able to assess the

work to be performed and the risks it might involve;
