Diffusion model and stable diffusion have recently emerged as major factors in the breakthrough of artificial intelligence-generated art. The development of stable diffusion model has made it possible for us to easily create wonderful art illustrations through a simple text prompt.
Stable Diffusion is a potential diffusion model from text to image, created by researchers and engineers from CompVis, Stability AI, and LAION. It is trained using 512x512 images from a subset of the LAION-5B database. With this model, it is possible to generate any image, including human faces, and with open-source pre-trained models, it can also be run on one's own machine.
Diffusion models, including stable diffusion, are probabilistic models that have their theoretical foundations in deep unsupervised learning using nonequilibrium thermodynamics and generative modeling by estimating gradients of the data distribution. These models, such as the Noise-Conditioned Score Network (NCSN) and Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Mode, provide a framework for generating high-quality images based on input text prompts.
The development of diffusion models and stable diffusion represents a significant advancement in AI-generated art, as they provide a powerful and accessible tool for creating visually stunning and unique illustrations simply through text input. This has the potential to revolutionize the way art is created and appreciated, and may open up new possibilities for artists and creators in the digital age.
