Plastics industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world today, and injection molds are among the rapidly developing categories. Therefore, studying injection molds is of great significance for understanding the production process of plastic products and improving product quality. This design introduces the basic principle of injection molding, especially the structure and working principle of single parting surface injection molds, and proposes basic design principles for injection products. It details the design process of the gating system, temperature control system, and ejection system of cold runner injection molds, and explains the requirements for mold strength. Through this design, one can have a preliminary understanding of injection molds, pay attention to certain details in the design, and understand the key points of mold structure and working principles.
