STS8200 testing system basic training (5).pptx; AccoTestSTS 8200 testing system basic training (5) - Self-test and Calibration Rev1.0 The main content includes: - System self-test - System calibration System self-test: - What is system self-test and what does it check? System self-test is a check of the main functions and basic accuracy of the hardware modules of the system, which is performed internally in the test host. - Contents checked: 1. Check if there are hardware circuit boards in the test platform. 2. Verify the hardware versions of each hardware circuit board. 3. Check if the circuit board functions and accuracy are qualified. When to perform system self-test: 1. The system will automatically perform self-test when the test machine is started. 2. Self-test must be done before each calibration. 3. If there are abnormal test results or suspected faults in the test machine, it is recommended to perform self-test. If the checkbox is not selected, you can cancel the automatic self-test when the test machine is started. Click "Check" to perform self-test. The image above shows the result of the self-test. Boards that fail the self-test will be displayed as "FAIL" in red font, while those that pass will show as "OK". How to view self-test data and the path to save self-test data: Using OVI40 as an example, the process of viewing self-test data is shown below: In summary, system self-test is a crucial step in ensuring the functionality and accuracy of the hardware modules of the testing system. Performing self-tests regularly and before calibrations helps in detecting any potential issues or malfunctions in the system.
