Design and Implementation of the Video Playback System Based on Android The video playback system based on Android is designed and implemented in this graduation thesis. The system is built on the open-source mobile terminal operating system of Android, using Java programming language and Eclipse editing tool, as well as Android SDK. The system is composed of modules including a startup interface, file browser, video playback, and video list management. One of the key features of the system is its file browser, which enables easy management of media libraries, greatly facilitating user operations. The system supports common multimedia file formats such as 3GP and MP4, allowing users to perform operations such as play, pause, resume, fast forward, rewind, and volume control. In order to test the functionality and validity of the video playback system, it was tested on both the Android emulator and the Huawei U8800 phone. The system was able to successfully fulfill the basic development requirements. In conclusion, the video playback system based on Android provides users with a user-friendly interface and efficient management of multimedia files. It demonstrates the capabilities of Android platform in providing a seamless video playback experience. The system's design and implementation showcase the potential of Android as a powerful platform for developing multimedia applications.
