The design of a digital thermometer based on FPGA is a significant improvement over traditional digital thermometers. Using EDA technology and a top-down design approach, specific logic circuits were drawn out to address the shortcomings of traditional designs. The hardware was then debugged and validated to ensure functionality. This design utilized VHDL programming language in Quartus II 9.0sp2 software, with the ALTRA company's Cyclone II series EP2C8Q208 chip for computer simulation. The results of the simulation demonstrated the successful temperature measuring functionality of the circuit. Overall, this digital thermometer design based on FPGA showcases the power and versatility of FPGA technology in creating efficient and accurate temperature measuring devices.
