The positioning and installation of the fixture on the machine tool, as well as the arrangement of the center positions of the transmission shaft, were also crucial considerations in the design process. Extensive research was conducted to understand the source of raw materials, as well as the supply of water, electricity, gas, and other energy sources, geographical and geological conditions, and transportation requirements. Additionally, a two-week internship was completed at a motor factory in Yancheng, where the production conditions and process layouts were closely observed. This practical experience helped in further refining the design to meet the requirements of new technologies and manufacturing processes, making it suitable for use in production assembly lines. Overall, the design of this specialized machine tool holds significant practical value, as it addresses the specific needs of drilling multiple holes in motor drive end caps efficiently and accurately.
