Abstract Currently, the most popular way for travelers is self-driving tours, as it provides flexibility and freedom in terms of time and itinerary. However, the cost of purchasing individual tickets for tourist attractions can be expensive. By joining a travel group, travelers can take advantage of group discounts on tickets. But in most cases, group tickets require signing up with a travel agency, making it difficult for individuals to enjoy the benefits of group rates without joining a formal tour group. This system is designed specifically for self-driving tour groups, offering a cost-effective way to travel through group purchasing. The self-driving tour group mini program is developed using Java language and Eclipse WeChat mini program software, with a MySQL database. This system facilitates group tours, including both front-end and back-end components. The front-end displays tourist attractions, group information, and forums. Once users register and log in, they can participate in group tours, access information about attractions, post threads, comment, and browse forums. Group leaders can also log in to initiate group tours and manage group orders. The back-end provides functions such as personal center management, user management, group leader management, attraction management, category management, group tour management, group order management, comment management, forum management, and system management. This system enables online participation in group tours, helping users make reservations for group tours and assisting administrators in managing order and attraction information.
