The rapid development of network technology has brought about significant advancements in various industries, providing a new management and ordering module for businesses. The emergence of mobile applications has revolutionized traditional management practices, bringing about a shift towards intelligent information management. Traditional dining management involves handling a large amount of information, which can be time-consuming and cumbersome for users to maintain. Additionally, data storage and retrieval processes can be complex and inefficient. In response to the internet boom, there is a growing demand for the development of intelligent and information-based dining management applications. This paper focuses on the design and implementation of a Java-based dining management app that offers seamless integration between the database and program. Java is a widely used programming language known for its high level of security, making it an ideal choice for developing such applications. By utilizing a MySQL database, the dining management app aims to streamline operations and enhance user experience. The system encompasses various features including homepage, personal center, user management, food category management, food management, table management, table reservation management, message board, order management, and system management. In conclusion, the dining management app developed in this study represents a significant advancement in the field of information management for dining establishments. By leveraging the capabilities of Java and MySQL, the app provides a secure and efficient platform for managing orders, customers, and resources. This intelligent and user-friendly application is poised to revolutionize the way dining establishments operate, offering a seamless and streamlined approach to managing their operations.
