This thesis, titled "Design of Electric Motor Speed Measurement System based on Single Chip Microcomputer", focuses on the practical application of measuring rotational speed in engineering projects. With the widespread use of microcomputers, especially the emergence of high-performance and cost-effective single-chip microcomputers, digital measurement methods centered around single-chip microcomputers are commonly used for speed measurement. This thesis, based on the SPCE061A single chip microcomputer, implements digital speed measurement functionality. Monitoring the operation of electric motors, measuring their speed and displaying it allows for a better understanding of the basic operating conditions of the motors. The design primarily utilizes the SPCE061A as the control core, incorporating a Hall sensor, LED digital display tube, HIN232CPE level converter, and SPGT62C19B motor control module. It details the serial communication of speed measurement system data by the microcontroller, fully leveraging the performance capabilities of the single chip microcomputer. The main focus of the thesis is to measure speed and display it on a 4-digit LED digital display. The advantages of this system include a simple hardware circuit, comprehensive software functionality, fast speed measurement, high accuracy, reliable control system, and a relatively high cost-performance ratio. The key words in this thesis are SPCE061A single-chip microcomputer, speed, and sensor. Through this project, the author has effectively demonstrated the application of single-chip microcomputers in the field of speed measurement, offering a practical and efficient solution for monitoring the speed of electric motors in industrial applications.
