摘要: 近20年来,PCI总线在许多领域被广泛使用,但随着微处理器、存储器和互连网络的快速发展, 并行数据传输PCI总线技术逐渐成为整个系统性能提升的瓶颈。从1990年代初起,PCI总线技术在工业界已经存在了十多年,在这些年里,与PC总线相比,它的发展缓慢。每三年一次的PCI总线技术的更新速度无法满足当今快速发展的信息技术需求。在这种情况下,PCI Express( PCI-E)技术应运而生。PCI-E技术是一种高效率、高带宽、低延迟的串行总线技术,是PCI总线技术的升级版本。本文从FPGA的角度出发,设计出了基于FPGA的PCI-E接口方案,以满足系统性能提升的需求。 关键词:PCIE;ISE;FPGA; Abstract: In the past 20 years, PCI bus has been widely used in many fields, but as the rapid development of microprocessor, memory, and interconnection network, parallel data transmission PCI bus technology has gradually become the bottleneck of overall system performance improvements. From the early 1990s, PCI bus technology has existed for more than ten years in the industry. In these years, its development is slow Comparing with PC bus. Every three years, the update speed of PCI bus technology cannot meet the rapidly growing information technology demands of today. In this case, PCI Express (PCI-E) technology emerged. PCI-E technology is a high-efficiency, high-bandwidth, low-latency serial bus technology, and it is an upgrade version of PCI bus technology. In this paper, based on FPGA, a PCI-E interface design scheme is proposed to meet the requirements of system performance improvement.
