With the development of modern cities and the increasing number of high-rise buildings, elevators have become an indispensable means of transportation in people's daily lives. The performance of elevators has a significant impact on people's lives, so efforts must be made to improve the performance of elevator systems to ensure that they are both efficient and energy-saving, as well as safe and reliable. The traditional elevator control systems used relay logic control circuits, which are prone to faults, inconvenient to maintain, have a short service life, and occupy a large space, and are gradually being phased out. In order to improve the reliability of automatic control systems and the efficiency of equipment, a set of elevator automatic control systems with PLC as the core controller has been designed to replace the previous complex relay-contactor control. The core part of the system (control part) uses the FX2N-80 PLC produced by the Japanese company Mitsubishi. Because the software program control is used in the core control part, the convenience and ease of elevator fault inspection and maintenance are greatly improved while ensuring the normal operation of the elevator. at the same time, it also overcomes some human interference factors brought by manual operation, achieving good expected results.
