The design of boiler control system and industrial control software monitoring is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of boiler systems. The combustion process in boilers is highly complex and involves multiple parameters that are interdependent, making it challenging to control. The coupling between coal feeding and air supply in the combustion system, as well as the nonlinear and large lag characteristics of the process, pose significant challenges in control. In this study, the front-end programming design for real-time monitoring of the boiler control system was conducted using the Kingview software from YAKO company. The Microsoft Access database system was utilized as the backend system for storing data related to faults, alarms, and other relevant information. By utilizing a human-machine interface (HMI) for monitoring, real-time monitoring of the system's operation was made possible. Data collected from the field could be processed to generate animated displays, handle alarms, control processes, display real-time and historical curves, and output reports. The configuration of the system in this design utilized the Configurator 6.52 software, which is user-friendly, structured, and easy to learn. This software makes effective use of Windows' graphical editing capabilities, enabling the creation of monitoring screens with animated displays of control device statuses. In conclusion, the implementation of an industrial control software monitoring system for boiler control is essential for effectively managing the complexities of the combustion process. The combination of front-end monitoring software, backend database systems, and HMI interfaces provides a comprehensive solution for real-time monitoring, data processing, and control of boiler systems. This design ensures the efficient and safe operation of boilers, ultimately leading to improved performance and reduced risks in boiler operation.
