The lack of talent has had a detrimental impact on its industrial development. The key to the development of Linux is the popularization of applications. However, there is a scarcity of professional talent in the field of Linux in China, and in terms of both quantity and quality, the professional talent in China is far inferior to that of the Windows system. This stark contrast between the limitless prospects for the application of Linux and the scarcity of talent in enterprise Linux demonstrates the insufficient talent pool. This paper analyzes and elaborates on the prospects for employment in the Linux field through a survey of Linux orientation, and provides suggestions for employment in the Linux field. Keywords: Internet, operating system, Windows system. As the use of Linux expands, more and more people are learning and using Linux. Linux quickly gained popularity and became one of the main operating systems in the world today. However, in China, Linux has not been in use for a long time, leading to a lack of talent in this area. This lack of talent has hampered the development of Linux. The key to the development of Linux is the widespread use of applications. However, there is a shortage of professional talent in the area of Linux in China, and in terms of both quantity and quality, the professional talent in China is far inferior to that of the Windows system.
