With the rapid development of disciplines such as microelectromechanical systems, computer, communication, automatic control, and artificial intelligence, a new type of measurement and control network has been born - wireless sensor network. It has the characteristics of low maintenance costs, flexible networking, and easy deployment, as if it was born for smart homes and security systems. This paper mainly designs an intelligent home and security system based on the Internet of Things, which can realize intelligent remote control of home devices. After joint debugging and further optimization with other parts, it can meet the needs of ordinary home users.
