With the rapid development and advancement of computer technology, we are entering a new era where computer applications have permeated every aspect of our lives. One of the key components in this technological revolution is the microcontroller, specifically the single-chip microcomputer, commonly known as the single-chip MCU. The single-chip MCU is a computer system that is manufactured on a single integrated circuit chip. It is widely used in various applications ranging from everyday electronic devices to advanced aerospace technologies such as satellites and spacecraft. The single-chip MCU is known for its compact size, powerful functionality, low power consumption, and wide range of applications. In this project, we utilized the AT89C51 microcontroller chip from AT Company to design a decorative lighting system known as the patterned flow lamp. This system is controlled by the microcontroller, with the negative terminal of the LEDs connected to the I/O port and the positive terminal directly linked to a 5V power source. The LEDs are illuminated by outputting a low level from the I/O port. Therefore, by controlling the voltage levels at the microcontroller's I/O port, we can produce different patterns of flowing light. In conclusion, the integration of the single-chip microcontroller technology with LED lights in the design of a patterned flow lamp showcases the versatility and efficiency of this technology in creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing electronic devices. This project serves as a testament to the vast potential and wide applicability of single-chip MCU technology in modern electronic applications.
