e capacity and high voltage occasions has been increasingly applied. Among the various control strategies, SVPWM algorithm has the advantages of high modulation ratio, optimized output voltage waveform, easy digital implementation, and high utilization of bus voltage. This paper reviews the development status of three-level inverter technology, analyzes several topologies of three-level inverters, control strategies, and their respective advantages and disadvantages. On the other hand, based on the diode-clamped three-level inverter, the working principle and mathematical model of the three-level inverter are elaborated. The principle of space vector control strategy is analyzed, the control algorithm for space voltage vector of three-level inverter is improved, the methods for determining large sector and small triangle are introduced, rules for determining sector and small triangle regions, the corresponding output voltage vector acting time and sequence of composite reference voltage vectors, and the generation method of switch signals are provided. Finally, using MATLAB/Simulink for simulation analysis, building simulation modules one by one, then connecting the modules together, the simulation of SVPWM control algorithm for three-level inverter is achieved, observing the output waveform of the system, analyzing the waveform, and comparing them to verify the feasibility of the algorithm.
