Abstract In recent years, with the continuous development of the national economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the packaging of Hainan fruits has become increasingly important. Packaging is very important for Hainan fruits. Choosing a suitable and exquisite packaging can not only reflect the charm of Hainan fruits to a certain extent, but also increase sales. This article comprehensively and multi-dimensionally analyzes the current situation and existing problems of Hainan fruit packaging. The analysis of the current situation of Hainan fruit packaging, such as the use of waterproof packaging technology for most Hainan fruits, the main use of foam plastic boxes for packaging Hainan fruits, and the use of packaging equipment for Hainan fruits, finds and proposes existing problems from the current situation, such as improper selection of packaging materials, poor packaging image, frequent occurrence of opportunistic packaging, unreasonable use of packaging instructions, and inadequate green environmental protection. Then, solutions are proposed to promote the stable development of the Hainan fruit packaging industry, such as selecting appropriate packaging materials, independently innovating to enhance the packaging image, strengthening guidance for fruit merchants to package Hainan fruits, using packaging instructions reasonably, and vigorously promoting new green packaging.
