This paper introduces the design methods of injection mould for storage box. Firstly, the process characteristics of the storage box component are analyzed, including material properties, molding characteristics and conditions, structural processability, etc., and the molding equipment is selected. Secondly, the selection of parting surface, determination and arrangement of the number of cavities in the injection mold for the storage box are introduced in detail, focusing on the design of the gating system, molded parts, mold guiding mechanism, and cooling system. The standard mold frame and mold material are selected, and the process parameters of the injection machine are checked. Finally, the working principle of the mold is explained, and the problems that may arise during installation and debugging are summarized, analyzed, and corresponding solutions are provided. The injection mold for the storage box adopts a three-plate structure, that is, the gating system solidification and parts are ejected on different parting surfaces, with one cavity arranged per mold, and the parts are finally pushed out using guide pins.
