Based on Photoshop image processing, this paper proposes a simplified and high-precision measurement scheme for crop leaf area. With the use of digital cameras, images containing reference borders and leaf images are analyzed and processed using Photoshop software. This not only simplifies the workflow but also greatly improves the measurement accuracy. The proposed method is applied to the measurement calculation of crop leaf area and has yielded satisfactory results. The characteristics of existing methods for measuring plant leaf area are analyzed in this paper. A measurement method using digital cameras to quickly obtain leaf images and image processing techniques is proposed. This method achieves non-destructive measurement of plant leaf area while ensuring measurement accuracy. The feasibility of this method is validated through the comparison and analysis of the implemented data. The key words for this study include image processing, leaf area, leaf pixel. In conclusion, the use of Photoshop software for image processing provides a simplified and accurate approach to measuring crop leaf area. By analyzing and processing images obtained from digital cameras, this method eliminates the need for complex procedures and ensures high precision in measurements. The proposed method offers a non-destructive and efficient solution for measuring plant leaf area. Further research and experimentation can be conducted to explore its applicability in other crops and plants.
