User profiles model system is a crucial tool for libraries to provide personalized recommendations to their users based on data-driven insights. This paper, sourced from the 10th issue of "New Century Library" in 2021, focuses on the research and development of a library user profile model using the method of hierarchical analysis and the establishment of a tag system. Through the acquisition and feature selection of user behavior data, the paper aims to construct accurate user profiles that reflect individual preferences and interests. The analytic hierarchy process is used as a standard for classification, ensuring that the tags assigned to users are relevant and meaningful. By calculating the weight of tags using the term frequency–inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) method, the paper creates a comprehensive and dynamic user profile system. The user profiles model system outlined in the paper allows libraries to better understand their users and provide tailored recommendations for library resources. By leveraging data-driven insights and user behavior data, libraries can enhance the user experience and increase engagement with their collections. In conclusion, the research presented in this paper offers a valuable framework for libraries to build and utilize user profile models effectively. By focusing on data-driven analysis and the establishment of a tag system, libraries can optimize their services and better meet the needs of their users in the digital age.
