Abstract: The pulse signal has the characteristics of non ⁃linear and non⁃stationary, and it is easy to be
interfered by external noise during acquisition. Therefore,an improved matching pursuit algorithm based
on symbiotic organisms search algorithm is proposed to de⁃noise the pulse signal. First, the inner product
of matching pursuit is optimized by symbiotic organisms search algorithm,Then,it is used for sparse de⁃
noising of pulse signal and its execution speed is compared with the other matching pursuit algorithm.
The results show that the improved matching pursuit algorithm not only effectively removes the noise
contained in the pulse signal, but also the efficiency of algorithm is ensured.
