With the rapid development of internet technology, the internet has become an indispensable part of modern people's daily lives. The combination of the catering industry and computer networks has given rise to online ordering. This paper specifically discusses the development process of a web-based ordering website system. The system uses My Eclipse as the development platform, Java as the development language, and SQL Server as the database, and implements functions such as member management, menu management, order management, and message management. This system meets the requirements of a web-based ordering website system and can help improve work efficiency. The structure of this paper is as follows: on one hand, it discusses the feasibility of the system; on the other hand, it introduces the related development tools and technical basis. It then analyzes the requirements of the system, proposes specific design schemes and database models, presents the implementation of the entire system and its functional modules, and finally presents the conclusions drawn.
