The electronic album design based on embedded ARMLinux is a Bachelor's degree graduation project that aims to cater to the needs of digital photo appreciation and display in the era of digital cameras. With traditional cameras fading into history, people now rely on PCs for viewing and arranging digital photos, which can be quite inconvenient. The electronic album serves as a solution to this problem by being compact, allowing for easy photo changes, and featuring USB transfer capabilities for plug-and-play convenience with ample storage space. This design utilizes the widely used S3C2410 series processing chip as the main chip and incorporates the open-source Linux operating system to establish a platform for the electronic album system. The main functions of the system include playing various format photos in slideshow mode on a 640*480 LCD touch screen, USB photo retrieval, and more. This design is characterized by its low cost and powerful functionality. In order to support NAND flash booting, modifications and porting of the U-BOOT boot loader program and customization of the embedded Linux kernel, including NAND flash partitioning, LCD driver modifications, and more were implemented. Additionally, in software development, circuit schematics and PCB layouts were designed based on the project requirements. Keywords: S3C2410; NAND flash; LCD touch screen; Linux Overall, the electronic album design based on embedded ARMLinux showcases a cost-effective and feature-rich solution for digital photo organization and display, addressing the challenges faced in the transition from traditional to digital photography. Through efficient hardware and software integration, this project provides a user-friendly and efficient platform for photo sharing and viewing.
