The rapid development of information technology has made the transfer of information more convenient and efficient. Traditional office work was mainly done manually with paper-based processes, which had drawbacks such as low efficiency, complexity, and resource wastage. Office automation systems have largely overcome these shortcomings and offer advantages that traditional methods lack, such as simplified processes for tasks like meeting scheduling, modification, cancellation, and deletion. As a result, office automation systems have been widely adopted.
This paper focuses on the design and implementation of an office automation system, developed using PhpStrom as the development platform, PHP and JavaScript scripting languages, CSS for styling, and MySQL for database management. The system includes features such as notification updates, workflow management, meeting scheduling, personnel management, and logging. It is designed to be user-friendly, with clear permissions and easy operability. Different levels of users have distinct permissions and roles within the system.
