B/S-based online exam system is being gradually developed under this trend. In order to achieve the efficiency, objectivity and fairness of the exam, the B/S-based online exam system has attracted more and more attention and research. This project analyzes the current situation of exams and designs and develops a JSP-based online exam system. The front-end of the system mainly uses JSP as the development language, MySQL as the database management system, MyEclipse as the development environment, and tomcat as the server, developing a B/S structured online exam system. The online exam system includes key features such as demand analysis, feasibility analysis, functional analysis, business process analysis, database design, ER diagram, data dictionary, data flow diagram, detailed design, system screenshots, testing, conclusion, acknowledgment, and references. The system is designed to be user-friendly, efficient, objective, and fair. The JSP-based online exam system aims to provide a convenient and reliable platform for conducting exams online, thereby improving the overall exam experience for both students and teachers.
