Abstract

In basketball games, accurate timing and scoring are important guarantees for ensuring the fairness of the game. Traditional manual scoring methods often have problems such as inaccurate scoring and timing errors. Therefore, designing an intelligent timer and scorer has important practical significance. This paper details the hardware and software design process of the basketball game timer and scorer, using a single-chip microcomputer to complete the timing and scoring functions, and realize the functions of score modification and accurate time display. With this device, the problem of inaccurate scoring and timing in basketball games can be effectively solved, improving the fairness and accuracy of the game.
