RF identification technology is a rapidly developing new technology in recent years, which utilizes RF signals for contactless information transmission through spatial coupling to achieve identification purposes. It has been widely involved in various aspects of people's lives with broad application prospects. After rapid development in the 1990s, currently, the RF card manufacturing technology and corresponding reading and writing device core technology in China still lag behind, greatly constraining the development of RF identification technology in the country. Therefore, research on RF cards and their reading and writing device core technology is of great significance. This thesis presents a detailed design scheme for an RF card reading and writing device. The design content includes hardware and software components. The specific hardware design content includes: low-power RF reader power supply circuit design, RF read-write core module design, microcontroller circuit design, serial communication circuit design, real-time clock circuit design, liquid crystal display circuit design, and antenna and matching network design. The specific software design content includes: program design of the upper computer for various functions of RF cards and single-chip microcontroller program design for the MSP430 microcontroller of the lower computer.
