Abstract: Despite the fact that many large libraries have sophisticated management systems in place, a significant number of small and medium-sized libraries still rely on manual processes. This manual approach leads to inefficiencies and makes it difficult for library administrators to immediately understand the borrowing patterns of library users. As a result, readers often struggle to find books quickly, and the library's book structure cannot be easily adjusted to meet the changing needs of readers. To address these challenges, an increasing number of small and medium-sized libraries are transitioning towards computerized information management systems. This project focuses on the development of a web-based book management system using PHP and MySQL. The system is designed to streamline the process of managing library resources, making it easier for administrators to track and organize books effectively. The key features of the system include user management, book addition and deletion, and book retrieval. By providing a scientific platform for book management, the system aims to enhance the efficiency of library operations and improve user experience for both students and staff.
