The design of a smart monitoring and control sampling system for card-swipe wastewater discharge based on the Internet of Things technology is the topic of this graduation thesis. With the aggravation of pollution problems in various industries and daily life, environmental pollution has become a significant concern. Environmental pollution has the characteristics of being "comprehensive, all-weather, and 24/7", and the management work is also "multiple points, wide areas, and large quantities." In order to achieve the effective monitoring, control, and sample collection of pollution sources (such as COD, PH value, and ammonia nitrogen content) in wastewater, modern high-tech methods that are scientific, informational, and automated have been employed. Based on the on-site control requirements, an Internet of Things-based wastewater discharge and sampling automatic control system has been developed to achieve rational wastewater discharge and information management. Practical applications have shown that this system has high accuracy and stable operation. Through efficient communication between the upper computer and lower computer via the GPRS network, automatic control of wastewater discharge and sampling has been achieved. This system is one of the advancements in promoting the development of green and environmentally friendly Internet of Things. Key words: environmental pollution, Internet of Things, GPRS
